 About PCD

Polycrystalline Diamond  - PCD -  is a synthetic diamond produced by sintering together selected
diamond particles with a metal matrix at high temperature and pressure. PCD tool blanks are
exceptionally high in hardness and abrasive resistant. PCD tools have many applications: machining,
drilling, milling, jointing, rabbiting, through-hole boring, turning, grooving and facing.

Cubic boron nitrite - CBN - is the hardest material following diamond. A man-made material, CBN
